Portrait

The emotion I expressed in my portrait is seriousness. To create this portrait I photographed my dad because he always has a serious expression on his face. I posed him on sitting in the closet with the lights off because it was the darkest area in my house. I used butterfly lighting to give his face a more serious look. I edited the image by removing chromatic aberration, enabling lens correction, lowering the clarity and exposure, and increasing the contrast and highlights. Overall I think my portrait was unsuccesful because I'm pretty sure I didn't use the light correctly. Next time I plan to use the different lights we have around the house to see if there's a difference.
